okay so the first thing you want to do is distribute the -3, meaning you’re going to multiple both of the values in the parenthesis by -3. then you’ll combine like terms, meaning -2x and -3x which will equal -5x. then you want to get any values with x by itself, so you’ll add 15 to each side to move it over. Then you need to get x by itself, so you divide each side by negative 5. This leaves your answer as -1
