a) There are enough sandwiches.
b) If you add 1 1/2 plus 2 3/4, you get 4 1/4, which is more than 4.
c) Another method is you can subtract 4 1/4 from 4. If it is a negative number then their is enough, if it is a positive number then it is not enough.
