It depends which pair goes first but the formula is Y2-y1 over x2-x1

(0,-3) = (x1,y1)

(4,5) = (x2,y2)

Slope = [tex]\frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1}[/tex]

          = [tex]\frac{5-(-3)}{4-0}[/tex]

          = [tex]\frac{5+3}{4}[/tex]

          = [tex]\frac{8}{4}[/tex]

          = [tex]2[/tex]
