Answer:

For x-4y=6 or in other word y=1/4x-3/2

First replace X by 0 to get the Y-intercept

[tex]y = \frac{1}{4} (0) - \frac{3}{2} \\ y = - \frac{3}{2} [/tex]

So the Y-intercept is (0,-3/2)

And second replace Y by 0 to get the X-intercept

[tex]0 = \frac{1}{4} x - \frac{3}{2} \\ x = 6[/tex]

So the X-intercept is (6,0)

same thing goes with the second equation
