Solve the following system of equations.
5x+2y =-6
3x-2y = 22

Answer:

5x+2y =-6 ........1

3x-2y = 22 ........2

Add both Equations

we get

8x = 16

Divide both sides by 8

x = 2

Substitute x = 2 into any of the equations

3(2) - 2y = 22

-2y = 22 - 6

- 2y = 18

Divide both sides by -2

y = - 9

x = 2 y = - 9
