Speed = Distance/Time

Distance = 495km

Time = 4 hr 30 min = 4 hr 1/2hr = 4.5 hr

Therefore, Speed = 495/4.5 = 110km/h

Now to convert km/h to m/s

110 x 1000/ 110 x 110

110 cancels out each other, we are now left with

1000/110 = 9.09m/s
