radius of each circle=6/2=3cm

area of one circle=3×3^2=3×9=27 cm^2

area of two circles=2×27=54 cm^2

length of the rectangle=circumference of the circle=2×3×3=18 cm

area of the rectangle=18×2=36 cm^2

So, total surface area=54+36=90 cm^2

The answer is 90 cm^2.
