My ones digit is 5 greater than my tens digit. when you add 16 to me, you 43 what number am I ?

The answer is 27.
We need to solve:
10x + (x+5) + 16 = 43
where x is the tens digit and (x+5) is the ones digit
11x + 21 = 43
11x = 22
x = 2
x+5 = 7

The answer is 27 cause the 2 is less than 5. When you add 16, you get 43. That's how I got my number. Adding and subtracting.
