slope = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) (x1,y1) = (2,-5) (x2,y2) = (7,1)
= (1- (-5))/(7-2)
= (1+6)/(5
7/5
m=7/5

the slope should be. seven times two is 14 and -5 times one is -5 (14, -5)
