What ideal of Renaissance art does Alberti single out in his description?

Alberti wanted to describe the ideal of Renaissance art that man is the center of the universe, and as such is limitless when it comes to development. He also wanted to state that everybody should pursue knowledge and thrive as much as they can, which are all Renaissance ideas.
