5⁵ / 5⁸

Because they both have "5" in it, we simply just need tt5o cross simplify.

A common factor that they have is 5⁵ so we simplify divide both the numerator and the denominator by 5⁵.

5⁵ ÷ 5⁵ = 1

5⁸ ÷ 5⁵ = 5³

So, now we have 1 / 5³

Simplify the denominator.

Our answer is : 1 / 125

Hope I helped!
