Solve for 'x'

[tex]\sqrt{x-5} = y \\ \\ x - 5 = y^2 \\ \\ x = y^2 + 5[/tex]

Therefore the inverse function is:
[tex]f^{-1} (x) = x^2 +5[/tex]
