Lisa has 5 yards of ribbon. she uses 2.25 yards on a dress and 1.6 yards on a blouse how much ribbon does she have left?

Here, all we need to do is subtract.

5 is the total.

5 - 2.25 = 2.75

2.75 - 1.6 = 1.15

She has 1.15 yards of ribbon left.
