The length of a rectangle is twice it’s width. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 60 cm, find it’s area.

Given that the length of the rectangle is twice its width and the perimeter is 60cm, then we can safely assume numbers that fit:
L=20
W=10
To make sure:
2(20)+2(10)=60
So, the area would be:
A=LxW
A=20(10)
A=200centimeter squared
